Wellness Team Meetings

Wellness Team meetings are designed to discuss, plan, implement, and promote upcoming onsite health-related activities and programs among your employee population. These programs are personalized to your facility and are based upon data collected from your company’s health screening and health risk assessment.

The wellness team consists of employees familiar with the company’s objectives and is led by an OHS staff member. Wellness teams allow your employees to play an active role in establishing and evaluating your wellness initiatives. Members of the wellness team set a great example for their co-workers by making wellness a priority. They also promote upcoming wellness programs and encourage involvement.

Every month, a member of the OHS team will meet onsite with participating employees. These meetings are used to discuss their current health programs and the company’s health-related goals, as well as to review their personalized programs. Each meeting is specific to the needs of the company and can include:

  • Wellness presentations on topics ranging from weight loss/control and smoking cessation to managing blood pressure and portion control. These meetings can be held whenever convenient for the company, during or after work hours.
